Michelin Maintains Top 10 Ranking Amongst America’s Best Large Employers
Forbes magazine has ranked Michelin No.10 among the best large employers in the U.S in 2019, which places it as the top tyre manufacturer on the list.
Michelin states that it focused on enhancing employees’ experiences at every stage, from candidate to new-hire to retiree.
“At Michelin, we provide our workforce a better way forward by empowering employees to connect their individual purposes with their job roles each day,” David Stafford, chief human resources officer for Michelin North America said.
“From paid volunteer hours to business resource groups, employees are provided with a wide range of opportunities to find purpose within and beyond their roles,” Stafford continued.
“Michelin is honoured by this recognition that highlights our commitment to providing a purpose-driven career for our workforce.
“Employees are given tools and support from leadership to take ownership of their own careers with greater access to internal job postings, feedback and training opportunities.”
In the annual listing from Forbes magazine, “America’s Best Large Employees” are ranked based on an independent survey from a sample of more than 30,000 U.S. employees working for companies with at least 1,000 people. Employees are given the opportunity to openly share anonymous feedback on a series of topics, including working conditions, salary, potential for development and company image.
