JAX Tyres & Auto’s support for electric vehicles is set for another power up, with the arrival of the Hankook’s iON, the world’s first tyres EV-only tyre, developed exclusively for a new generation of vehicles, available now across the JAX network. 

Unlike vehicles with internal combustion engines, EVs require lower noise, higher load support, response to a higher torque, and lower rolling resistance. iON perfectly responds to the characteristics of electric vehicles with innovative EV technology and provides optimal driving performance. 

From May, Hankook’s iON will be available for purchase and fitting at all JAX Tyres & Auto stores nationwide, and online, starting from $365 per tyre. The full line-up includes:

• iON evo AS SUV: Evolutionised to perform and last 

With the recent launch of the Australian Government’s National Electric Vehicle Strategy promising to increase the supply of affordable and accessible EVs, JAX Tyres & Auto’s Future Fit program is already well underway, preparing for a new era of electric vehicle ownership. 

EV stations already in place at Gilles Plains, Woolloongabba, Kwinana, Edwardstown, Clyde North,  Bowen Hills, and Warrawong will soon be joined by new installations across New South Wales and Victoria, helping to ensure that EV owners can find power on tap with JAX.
