As an Assistant Manager, you are able to assist in managing the operation of the Store on a day to day basis, including: the supervision and direction of staff, achieving sales and gross profit targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adherence to Policies and Procedures as defined by JAX Tyres.

You are able to assume the responsibilities of the Manager in their absence and ensure to maximise sales of Approved Products focusing on tyres, wheels, brakes, suspension and associated services by utilising the JAX Business System and associated tools.

Tyre Technician -  Ballarat VIC

As a Tyre Technician, you will be required to carry out the fitting, balancing, repairs and general servicing of tyres and ancillary products as directed and to a standard that enhances the Company, its products and services optimising customer safety and return on investment.

You are also able to identify and rectify faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear by checking and servicing the steering system and suspension and identifying and interpreting tyre and rim regulations and making adjustments to the alignment and conducting post alignment checks, road testing if required.

Automotive Technician (Motor Mechanic - Light Vehicle)  -  Ballarat VIC

As an Automotive Technician (Motor Mechanic – Light Vehicle), you will be required to carry out the servicing and the mechanical duties in accordance with Australian industry standards and as specified by JAX Tyres.

You need to identify and rectify vehicle faults focusing on JAX Approved mechanical steering, brakes and suspensions and seasonal oil service.

Occasionally as required, carry out the fitting, balancing, repairs and general servicing of tyres and ancillary products as directed and to a standard that enhances the Company, its products and services with a view to improve customers’ safety , extend tyre life and maximize our customers’ return on investment.

  • Hold revelant & valid qualifications as required - Minimum Certificate 3 in Light vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalents

  • Excellent customer service and time management skills
