JAX Tyres & Auto and David Reynolds Unveil 2025 Pink Helmet to Drive Breast Cancer Awareness
08 October, 2025
JAX Tyres & Auto has officially revealed the 2025 special edition pink racing helmet, to be worn by Supercars champion David Reynolds, at the upcoming Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, taking place from 24–26 October.
Now entering its third year, the pink helmet initiative is a key part of JAX Tyres & Auto’s ongoing commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) in its vision to achieve Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
As a visible show of support for this important cause, front-of-house team members at JAX Tyres & Auto stores across the country will wear pink t-shirts every Friday throughout October.
Designed and hand-painted by leading helmet artist, Trent Rogers of 6Star Custom Paint, this year’s helmet features a classic Gold Coast scene with a surfer riding a wave. With an estimated value in excess of $8,500, this is a rare chance for fans and collectors to own a genuine piece of motorsport history, while supporting an important cause.
April Harwood, Chief Franchising Operations Officer at JAX Tyres & Auto, says, “We’re incredibly proud to reveal this year’s pink helmet as part of our ongoing partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Thanks to the support of David Reynolds and the incredible artistry of Trent Rogers from 6Star Custom Paint, we’re proud to blend our love of motorsport with a cause that truly matters.”
The National Breast Cancer Foundation General Manager Philanthropy and Partnerships, Penny Waitsman says, “The National Breast Cancer Foundation has a single purpose – to fund world-class breast cancer research in Australia and an ambitious and critical vision – Zero Deaths from breast cancer. We are grateful to our corporate partner, JAX Tyres & Auto and, David Reynolds who for the third consecutive year is auctioning his pink helmet to raise funds for breast cancer research.”
David Reynolds says, “Breast cancer touches so many families, and if this helmet can help raise funds to fight it, then I’m proud to do my part. A huge thank you to JAX Tyres & Auto for making this possible.”
Fully race-prepared and worn throughout the GC500 weekend, the helmet is not only a critical piece of safety gear but also a unique collector’s item. It comes equipped with professional-grade features, including a D2N Radio Kit for seamless team communication and an integrated cooling fan system to enhance driver comfort during competition.
The auction hosted by Lloyds Auctions, will be available online only from 8 October and will conclude on 27 October, with 100 per cent of the proceeds being donated directly to NBCF, to support its vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
