Melbourne 4x4 Show 2026 - Terms and Conditions
This competition (Competition) is offered by JAX Tyres & Auto (Organiser).
Information on how to participate in this Competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions (Terms). Attempts or requests to participate in this Competition that are not made in accordance with these Terms are ineligible.
By participating in this Competition, an entrant (Entrant) is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
Entrants agree their info to be sent to Organiser who will use your details for Marketing purposes only (Email marketing, SMS and vouchers) in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Entrants must be over 18 years old to enter the Competition. All Entrants must attend the competition in person at the JAX Tyres & Auto stand (E114) at the Melbourne National 4x4 Outdoors Show 21st - 23rd August 2026.
Employees of JAX Tyres & Auto and their immediate family members, are ineligible to participate in this Competition.
Competition
The competition is a game of skill. The winning Entrant is the one who fits the wheel fastest during the competition opening hours. The Entrant must follow the competition rules displayed at the JAX stand:
Scan the QR code and enter your details to be eligible for a shot at being the JAX Top Gun.
- Wait for your turn to compete
- Pick up the Rattle Gun and let us know that you are ready.
- Wait for your starter to say “Ready, Set, Go” this is when the timer starts.
- Wheel nuts to be removed, wheel is to come off and touch the ground before being lifted back onto the hub, wheel nuts must be started by hand then rattled up correctly with the rattle gun, not too tight!
- Time will stop when you place the rattle gun back to its base.
- Timekeepers' decisions are final!
1. The winning Entrant will win 1x Hot Lap in a Chevrolet Camaro Supercar at Sandown Motor Raceway, VIC (the Prize). The Prize does not include any travel costs or associated expenses incurred in redeeming the Prize.
2. The Competition is open during Melbourne National 4x4 Outdoors Show opening hours 21st - 23rd August 2026.
3. The winning Entrant will be the Entrant who fitted the wheel fastest during the competition. Timekeepers' decisions are final!
4. The winning Entrant will be contacted by email on Monday 24th August 2026. The winning Entrant has 2 weeks from the date of the email to respond to the email and claim the Prize. If the winning Entrant does not claim the prize, the second best time will be contacted by email and they will have 2 weeks from the date of the email to claim the prize.
5. All Entrants agree pictures and /or video of the competition may be taken and may be shared across JAX Tyres & Auto social media channels.
6. The Prize is not transferrable and not redeemable for cash. Any element of the Prize that is not claimed will be forfeited, and no compensation is payable in its place.
7. Redemption of the Prize is subject to the winning Entrant complying with the participation requirements and safety rules imposed by Team 18, including but not limited to the following:
(a) The winning Entrant must be over 18 years of age.
(b) Due to vehicle cabin and seat restrictions, the winning Entrant must be no taller than 180cm, weigh no more than 95kg, and have a maximum 38-inch pant size.
(c) The winning Entrant must wear fully enclosed footwear, such as trainers, ankle boots or work boots. Sandals, thongs and high-heeled shoes are not permitted.
(d) As there are no change room facilities at the circuit, the winning Entrant will be required to wear the provided race suit over their own clothing. It is recommended that the winning Entrant wear a long-sleeved top and full-length trousers.
(e) The Prize is non-transferable and is intended for the winning Entrant only.
(f) The date of the Prize is scheduled for Monday, 16 November 2026; however, the specific time at which the hot lap will take place on that date will be at the sole discretion of Team 18. Team 18 will notify the Winner of the confirmed time and any relevant instructions closer to the date of the Prize. The Winner must be available to participate at the time nominated by Team 18.
If the winning Entrant fails to comply with any of the above requirements or any other rules, directions, eligibility criteria or safety requirements imposed by Team 18, Team 18 reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse or revoke the winning Entrant's participation in the Prize experience. In such circumstances, JAX Tyres & Auto will not be liable to provide any substitute prize, compensation or reimbursement.
8. If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as intended or planned by the Organiser, JAX Tyres & Auto reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Competition and to disqualify any Entrant without liability of any kind.
9. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Entrant acknowledges and accepts that:
(a) Participating in the Competition may be physically demanding and may pose a risk to the Entrant’s health
(b) The Entrant is solely responsible for ensuring that they are not suffering from any health condition that may hinder their participation in the Competition or prevent them from safely participating in the Competition or that may be detrimental or adverse to their health, safety or physical condition if they participate in the Competition
(c) The Entrant will not participate in the Competition whilst suffering from any such condition
(d) If the Entrant is in any doubt, they will obtain appropriate medical advice before participating in the Competition
(e) The Organiser (and their respective agents, employees and officers) is unable to provide the Entrant with medical advice, whether in regard to the Entrant’s fitness to participate in the Competition or otherwise
(f) The Organiser (and their respective agents, employees and officers) have no obligation to perform any type of assessment or testing to determine the Entrant’s physical condition or ability to participate in the Competition without risk to themself
(g) To the maximum extent permitted at law:
i. the Organiser (and their respective agents, employees and officers) exclude all liability for any actions, claims, costs, demands, expenses, liabilities or loss (including any consequential or indirect loss) of any kind whatsoever arising from or related to the Competition, or the Prize;
ii. the Entrant waives any right to compensation for loss, damage, injury to or death arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Competition and will not bring any claim, present or future, against the Organiser(and their respective agents, employees and officers) for any such loss, damage, injury or death; and
iii. the Entrant agrees to indemnify the Organiser (and their respective agents, employees and officers) against all claims, liability, loss, cost and expense that the Organiser (and their respective agents, employees and officers) may suffer or incur arising out of the Entrant’s participation in the Competition.
